Salida is the most populous city in Chaffee County, with over 5,000 residents.  Salida still has agricultural roots, and remains a rural community.  In the past two decades, Salida has experienced a downtown revitalization and become a recognized artist haven and retirement community.  Further,  Salida has benefited from recreational activity in the Arkansas River watershed and the growth of nearby Buena Vista and the Monarch ski area.

The median household income in Salida is above national averages, but retirees distort these statistics and macro economics are trending in the right direction.  Salida has a limited number of lawyers, yet all the legal needs of a thriving small community.  

The Cranium Group’s physical office is in Salida. In addition, Benjamin Kahn lives in Salida with his family and owns property and other businesses in town.  As a committed local with big city experience and credentials, Ben is an established presence in the community and the Group is a good match for bustling Salida.
